Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. Today friday,at least 27 people were reportedly dead after Malian commandos stormed a luxury hotel identified as Radisson Blu hotel at Bamako with at least 170 people inside,many of them foreigners,that had been seized by Islamist gunmen.Later on 73 people were released and security forces are now trying to make their way through the Hotel.Another source said 18 bodies were found in the building ,then two attackers have been killed.Special forces teams have been moving through the hotel floor by floor,freeing hostages.The assailants had gathered on the seventh floor,while on lookers say they heard sporadic gunfire as the hostages situation continued.By late afternoon,ministerial adviser Amadou Sangho told a French television station BFMTV that no more hostages were being held.More photos below.
