 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. 9 MUSICIANS,DROWNED IN A RIVER YESTERDAY IN KENYA.{PHOTO}

PHOTO | TOM OTIENO                         According to sources,nine members of a musical band drowned yesterday saturday in Kenya when a boat they were travelling in capsized in the Kenyan waters of Lake Victoria.The nine were part of a musical band that was headed to an evening performance when the boat capsized just 20 minutes away from the shore.Regional Deputy Commissioner Angelina said ''The boat was overloaded because it was also carrying heavy music equipment .We rescued eight people and shall start a search for the nine''.They were 14 in number and the picture above shows some of the musicians that survived.One more photo below.
