 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. TOUCHING AS EUCHARIA ANUNOBI BURIES HER ONLY SON RAYMOND TODAY AT IKOYI.{PHOTOS}.

         Life took a new turn for Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi, as she buried the remains of her only child, Raymond, on Tuesday morning at the Ikoyi, Lagos cemetery. He was aged 15.Present at the funeral were actresses, Ini Edo, Stephanie Okereke-Linus, Monalisa Chinda, Rita Dominic, Lillian Bach, Susan Peters and a host of other celebrities.A brief service of Tribute took place before the interment.The funeral service, which started at 10 a.m., had in attendance numerous friends and family members of the actress, who is also a pastor of the Fresh Oil Ministry International Church, Lagos.The deceased, Raymond Ekwu, died from complications associated with sickle cell anaemia on August 23.Eucharia married Charles Ekwu in 2000 and the marriage lasted till 2006 before trouble set in. Raymond was the only product of the marriage, which ended in a messy divorce.She had dragged her ex-husband to court and slammed him with a N100 million lawsuit in 2010. The monetary demand, according to Eucharia, was on the grounds of ‘abandonment, irresponsibility and assault.More photos below.

    Lord have mercy and rest the little lad in Peace...Ameeen. I keep on saying this, we should go TRADITIONAL if MEDICAL is no more working. I don't have the full CURE but something which could have pushed him further in Age.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
