 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. Pursuant to its powers under Articles 12 (3) and 24 of the APGA Constitution 2014 (as amended), the National Working Committee (NWC) of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) met on 29th August 2019 and approved the following fees for purchase of Party Forms for the 2019 general election:
1. PURCHASE AND RETURN OF FORMS:
A. Purchase and Return of Expression of Interest and Nominations Forms: 
4th – 11th September 2018.
B. Fees for Forms:
(i) PRESIDENT:
- Expression of Interest Form – #5 million
- Nomination Form – #20 million
(ii) GOVERNORSHIP:
- Expression of Interest Form – #2 million
- Nomination Form – #8 million
(iii) SENATE:
- Expression of Interest - #1 million
- Nomination Form – #4 million
(iv) HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:
- Expression of Interest – #500,000.00
- Nomination Form - #2 million
(v) STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY:
- Expression of Interest – #200,000.00
- Nomination Form – #800,000.00
PLEASE NOTE:
A. Female Aspirants shall pay only 50% of the fees stipulated above for both the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.
B. Aspirants for the State House of Assembly shall obtain their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms from the National/State Secretariats of the Party across the Country.
C. Presidential, Governorship and National Assembly Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms are obtainable from the National Secretariat of the Party in Abuja.
D. All Forms are obtainable with ONLY Certified Bank Draft (non-refundable) made payable to the ALL PROGRESSIVES GRAND ALLIANCE, NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS, ABUJA.
E. Upon completion, the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms shall be returned to the Points of Purchase, accompanied with proof of payments and all relevant documents stipulated therein.
F. The Party reserves the right and discretion to issue Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to credible and eligible Aspirants, any time, before the scheduled primary elections.
G. We urge all aspirants to ensure strict compliance with the stipulated directives above and the Party’s Electoral Guidelines for Primary Elections.
H. Detailed activities of the Party’s Timetable for the forthcoming Primary Elections will be made Public soon.
