 Chawai Community Appeals To Gov. Uba Sani For Relief, Medical Support After Deadly Kauru Attack The people of Chawai Chiefdom in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to Governor Uba Sani to provide urgent relief and medical assistance to victims of the deadly attack on Naridon village in Kamaru Ward. In an open letter addressed to the governor, the community commended his leadership, describing his administration as inclusive and fair. They said this had given residents confidence that every community in the state is valued. The community, however, expressed concern over what it described as the lack of government intervention following the attack on Naridon village, in which it said 30 people were killed. According to the letter, many survivors and families of the victims are still struggling with grief, trauma, displacement, and the challenges of caring for those injured in the attack. OPERATION PUFF ADDER STRIKES HARDER, ROUTS-OUT MORE CRIMINAL ELEMENTS ALONG ABUJA-KADUNA EXPRESSWAY.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

The unwavering determination of the Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Mohammed Adamu NPM, mni to rid the Country of kidnapping and other heinous crimes has continued to record tremendous successes. In the latest development, a combined team of police operatives attached to Operation Puff Adder on the 11th May, 2019 arrested nine (9) kidnap suspects and recovered of two (2) AK47 Rifles, four (4) AK47 Magazines, fifty Four (54) rounds of live ammunition, five (5) dane guns and 200 stolen cows.
The kidnap suspects who include: Ayuba lawal, Saidu Bello, Abdullahi Bello, Adamu Lawal, and Umar Sani, all males and indigenes of Dan Musa LGA of Katsina State, were arrested at Kudaru Forest in Lere LGA of Kaduna State following credible intelligence and support from the locals in the community.
Other suspects, Muhammed Sani, Jibrin Shehu, Usman Sani, Musa Garba, all males, were similarly arrested at Akilbu forest around Chikwale in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. All the suspects have made useful statement to the Police on their involvement in a series of kidnap cases on the Abuja – Kaduna expressway.
Meanwhile, the IGP has commended the people for their cooperation and support to the Police and has assured that with the consistent support by the public the war against kidnapping and other heinous crimes in the country will certainly be won in no distant time. ​
