 Ogun cracks down on criminals, lights up Sagamu Interchange, clears shanties As part of efforts to make the Sagamu Interchange and its environs a no-go area for criminals, the Ogun State Government has provided illumination at the under-bridge area along the Lagos - Ibadan Expressway and subsequently at the four intersections of the Interchange. The Ogun State Government, which took this step after clearing the illegal shanties, shops and stalls in the area in order to deprive criminals of a cover in the area, undertook adequate illumination of the area through solar street lights. Recently, the State Government, in a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Hon Kayode Akinmade, had said that it was fully apprised of the situation in the area and would never allow criminals to continue to launch attacks on innocent citizens.      The overloaded vehicle will not only put the driver at risk but also passengers and other road users.
The driver’s control and operating space in the overloaded vehicle are diminished, escalating the chances of an accident.-FRSC.
  If you notice,the driver piled up these goods that looks like weed from back to front and only left where he can see and drive.Some drivers don't know that you need all angles,side mirrors etc to be safe on the road.Thank God he was arrested and I pray others could learn from this.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
