  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. TERMINATION OF APPOINTMENT OF REV TOR UJAH AS EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF NCPC BY PRESIDENT BUHARI. TODAY{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the immediate termination of appointment of Rev. Tor Ujah, as the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission.
This is in line with the provision of Section 4, Sub-Section 3 of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission Act. Rev. Ujah has, therefore, been directed to hand over to Mrs. Esther Kwaghe, Director of Administration in the Commission, who is to oversee the Office, pending the appointment of a Substantive Executive Secretary.
In a related development, President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation to work out an appropriate framework for the operation of offshore account maintained by the Nigerian Christian Pilgrimage Commission, (NCPC) & all other Nigerian Government Agencies in order to streamline their operations
