 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. Police Officer Shoots His Wife Dead & Kills Himself Afterwards
    A Police Inspector shot himself and his wife dead at the Prison Barrack, Ikoyi in Lagos state on Saturday October 26.

The man is said to be an Inspector of Police while the woman is an Inspector of Prisons. The reason for the murder-suicide is because the woman took their children to her own apartment without the man's consent.

The policeman inspector who felt the estranged wife does not have the right to take their children to her own home without telling him, took his official gun to the woman's apartment, shot her and shot himself too to death.

The couple were rushed to the hospital after the incident but the woman died in the early hours of Sunday October 27th while the man died later in the day.

Confirming the incident to the report, the spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana, said the incident happened and that the police is investigating the matter to unravel the reason behind the dastard act. He said the names of the couple cannot be released at the moment as their families have not been contacted-Based on yesterday report.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
