A high-school quarterback has passed away after suffering a severe on-field injury. 17-year-old Adam Massman was preparing to begin his senior year at Lincoln High in Alma Center, Wisconsin. Adam was a multi-sport athlete and was a standout at both basketball and football. Sadly, on the night of Thursday, August 20th, during the third quarter of the school's game against Turtle Lake, Adam suffered an injury that ultimately took his life. The exact nature of the injury has not been disclosed to the public. Adam was treated on-site by EMTs and rushed to a nearby hospital where he fought for his life, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. The news of his passing has deeply affected the local community. Lincoln High has opened its doors and provided grief counseling over the weekend.
