Ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson Excluded from Royals' Easter Gathering After Attending Last Year Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were notably absent from this year’s royal Easter gathering, just a year after joining the family for the same tradition. King Charles led senior members of the royal family to the Easter Mattins service on Sunday, April 5, at St George’s Chapel within Windsor Castle. The annual outing, a long-standing royal custom, saw family members arrive for the church service, but Andrew and Ferguson were nowhere to be seen. Their absence comes as both have largely remained out of the public eye in recent months, with renewed scrutiny surrounding past controversies. PRESIDENT BUHARI COMMISERATES WITH DAME ADAORA UMEOJI ON MOTHER’S DEATH



President Muhammadu Buhari commiserates with Dame (Dr) Adaora Umeoji, the Deputy Managing Director of Zenith Bank, and the entire family of Umeoji of Aku Village, Anambra State on the passing of their beloved mother and matriarch, Chief Lady Ngami Umeoji, KSJI, (Adagbaodu 1).


“Mama” as she was fondly called was indeed a towering personality.


Her passion and commitment to humanity, advancing the good in others resonated in the church, education field and the local community, where she touched the lives of the less privileged, and especially widows, in the society.


“While her transition has left a void too difficult to fill, I urge the family to be unwavering in advancing her ideals and take solace in the truism that her memory will always be a blessing.


“I pray that God Almighty will grant her soul peaceful rest and equally grant all her children, grandchildren, numerous friends and relations the fortitude to bear the loss. 


"Kindly accept my profound condolences," the President said.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
