 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. Police arrests man who lures ladies to hotels with a promise to get them a job and then r@pes them

Operatives of SWAT Bayelsa State Police Command have arrested one Joseph Godfrey, 50 years, for allegedly luring unsuspecting female job-seekers to a hotel and s€xually assaulting them.

A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Asinim Butswat, says the suspect usually disguised as a staff of Government House, Yenagoa and lured his victims with the promise of Job opportunities and employment.

Butswat said the suspect ran out of luck on 10th October 2022 at about 1300 hours, when one of the girls raised alarm and he was arrested at Opolo, Yenagoa.

He said the suspect is being interrogated by Police operatives while investigation is ongoing.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
