 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU MOURNS NAF PERSONNEL IN ONDO JET CRASH, ORDERS THOROUGH INVESTIGATION OF THE MISHAP   President Bola Tinubu has expressed profound sadness over the crash on Monday morning of a Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 jet near a naval base in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State.   The aircraft was on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos when the accident occurred.   The President extends his deepest condolences to the family of the 25 passengers and seven crew members involved, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, and all officers, airmen and airwomen of the Nigerian Air Force.   "This is a painful moment for our Armed Forces and for the entire nation. Police arrests man who lures ladies to hotels with a promise to get them a job and then r@pes them

Operatives of SWAT Bayelsa State Police Command have arrested one Joseph Godfrey, 50 years, for allegedly luring unsuspecting female job-seekers to a hotel and s€xually assaulting them.

A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Asinim Butswat, says the suspect usually disguised as a staff of Government House, Yenagoa and lured his victims with the promise of Job opportunities and employment.

Butswat said the suspect ran out of luck on 10th October 2022 at about 1300 hours, when one of the girls raised alarm and he was arrested at Opolo, Yenagoa.

He said the suspect is being interrogated by Police operatives while investigation is ongoing.
