 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. OWNER OF RECOVERED SUV ABANDONED UNDER OTEDOLA BRIDGE HAS SHOWN UP TO RECOVER HIS CAR- POLICE. (PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

The owner of the recovered SUV, 4Matic GL 450 with the registration number KUJ 384 LY under Otedola Bridge yesterday showed up two hours ago.

He said he was attacked by traffic robbers after a stop to check his shaking rear tyre. 

He abandoned the vehicle there to escape.

All confirmations done and vehicle along with valuables have been handed over to him while CSP Yinka Egbeyemi  has directed RRS Decoy Team to arrest those involved in the attack.


EARLIER REPORT 

Officials of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on patrol at about 10:00 p.m. yesterday recovered an SUV, 4matic GL 450 with the registration number KUJ 384 LY under Otedola bridge.

The car's engine was running and driver's side door opened with no occupant. In the car were travelling bags and laptop.

The Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has directed the decoy team to commence preliminary investigation immediately.

Whoever has information about the owner of the vehicle should kindly contact RRS HQ, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.
