The state Police Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, said in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday that the arrest on Tuesday followed the intervention of men of the Command’s Rapid Response Squad following a distress call. Abutu said in a statement on behalf of the state Commissioner of Police, Adeniran Akinwale, that “at about 18:00 hours, the command received a distress call that some suspected members of Buccaneer Confraternity Alora Sea Lord secret cult group were conducting themselves in a manner that could cause breach of peace on the campus of EKSU.” He said that the comman

President Buhari commissions Yobe Airport...Named after him 

President Muhammadu Buhari, today commissioned the Yobe International Cargo Airport, Damaturu. 

The President upon arrival at the airport from Yola commissioned the project.

The Airport which is named after the President, is now to be known as Muhammadu Buhari International Cargo Airport, Damaturu.

The airport is one of the legacy projects lined up for commissioning by the President today Monday 9th, 2023.
