 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. WOMEN AFFAIRS COMMISSIONER, OBINABO, SEALS FIAT MISSIONARIES COMMUNITY CHILDREN'S HOME IN NKWELLE

Anambra State Women and Social Welfare Commissioner, Hon. Ify. Obinabo has sealed off Fiat Missionaries Community Children's Home Nkwelle for not complying with the provisions of the law in running an orphanage home.


This she did after a tip off from a whistle blower notifying the ministry that the operator of the home has opened a new branch without due registration and authorization 


On getting to Fiat Missionaries Community Children's Home Nkwelle, the women and social welfare boss also discovered that the mode of operations in the home was substandard.


Speaking immediately after sealing the home, Hon. Obinabo through her Senior Social Welfare Officer, Mr Obiora Onunkwo stated that more homes will be closed in coming months if community home operators fail to comply with the provisions of the law in running orphanage homes. 


He noted that the aim is to send a strong warning to defaulters to desist forthwith or face the consequences of their actions. 


The sealed home is a branch of Fiat Missionaries Community Children's Home Onitsha.


Mr. Ilo Favour Udochukwu, Executive Assistant to Mr. Governor on Women and Social Welfare; Mr. Chukwuma and some security operatives were among the team that sealed off the home.
