 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. WOMEN AFFAIRS COMMISSIONER, OBINABO, SEALS FIAT MISSIONARIES COMMUNITY CHILDREN'S HOME IN NKWELLE

Anambra State Women and Social Welfare Commissioner, Hon. Ify. Obinabo has sealed off Fiat Missionaries Community Children's Home Nkwelle for not complying with the provisions of the law in running an orphanage home.


This she did after a tip off from a whistle blower notifying the ministry that the operator of the home has opened a new branch without due registration and authorization 


On getting to Fiat Missionaries Community Children's Home Nkwelle, the women and social welfare boss also discovered that the mode of operations in the home was substandard.


Speaking immediately after sealing the home, Hon. Obinabo through her Senior Social Welfare Officer, Mr Obiora Onunkwo stated that more homes will be closed in coming months if community home operators fail to comply with the provisions of the law in running orphanage homes. 


He noted that the aim is to send a strong warning to defaulters to desist forthwith or face the consequences of their actions. 


The sealed home is a branch of Fiat Missionaries Community Children's Home Onitsha.


Mr. Ilo Favour Udochukwu, Executive Assistant to Mr. Governor on Women and Social Welfare; Mr. Chukwuma and some security operatives were among the team that sealed off the home.
