 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Subsidy: Apapa-led faction of LP rejects NLC planned protest against Tinubu govt

The Labour Party (LP) has rejected a planned nationwide protest by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in demonstration against the removal of fuel subsidy by President Bola Tinubu.

The party also called for the immediate dismissal and prosecution of Melee Kyari, Managing Director of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).

Addressing newsmen in Abeokuta on Thursday, Abayomi Arabambi, the National Publicity Secretary of the LP faction led by Lamidi Apapa, said the NLC can go ahead with a strike and ask workers to stay away from work until their demands are met.
