   King Charles Hosts Maundy Service in Wales for the First Time in Decades King Charles and Queen Camilla were in Wales on April 2 for the Royal Maundy Service, marking a rare return of the tradition to the country.  It was the first time the event has been held in Wales since 1982, and only the second time in the service’s long history. The ceremony took place at St. Asaph Cathedral in north Wales, and it carried personal significance for Prince William and Kate Middleton.  Since King Charles became monarch in September 2022, William and Kate have held the historic titles of Prince and Princess of Wales, frequently visiting the region in their new roles.  King Charles himself carried the title of Prince of Wales for 64 years before ascending the throne, adding another layer of meaning to the occasion.  Rhodes-Vivour’s running mate Oyefusi quits LP


Lagos Deputy gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections Princess Islamiyat Abiodun Oyefusi has resigned from the party.

This was contained in a letter titled: “Re: Resignation of membership from Labour Party” addressed to her ward chairman.

She appreciated Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour for the political window as his running mate, noting that she can no longer see herself aligning with the current values of Labour Party as the time has come to move forward.

Oyefusi said she looked forward to working with her supporters in the future towards achieving their dreams of freeing Lagos from one-party politics and creating a State that works for everyone.

Parts of the letter read: “This letter is to hereby officially notify you of my resignation from Labour Party.

“It has been a very interesting 10 months of my political career, I give thanks and glory to Almighty God for seeing me through in good health and with His mercy.

“My thanks to Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour for the political window as your deputy.

“At this juncture, I can no longer see myself aligning with the current values of Labour Party or as a member of Labour Party, and the time has come for me to move forward.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my team and supporters across the length and breadth of Lagos State and Nigeria in general, who worked tremendously hard with me, despite the difficult terrain, on our achievements during the 2023 electioneering period, an achievement, we can all be highly proud of, and for the immense support of the ObiDatti family and NCF, It was indeed an honour and a privilege to take that journey with you all.

” I look forward to working with you all in the future towards achieving our dreams of freeing Lagos from one party politics, creating a Lagos that works for everyone, and a better/new Nigeria.

“Thank you all and God bless you all.”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
