 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare . WIFE ALLEGEDLY MURDERED HUSBAND AT MALUNGANE VILLAGE IN NAMAKGALE. (PHOTOS).

  Wife allegedly murdered husband at Malungane village in Namakgale 


A 52-year-old woman, Orscarin Selina Hlungwani, has been charged with murder for allegedly killing her husband, Soyaphi Moses Hlungwani (63) also known as Shaka, at Malungane village in Namakgale. 


After his first wife passed away, Hlungwani moved to Malungane village with Selina. The couple got into a fight on August 27, leaving Shaka bruised and lying on the floor. The family reported the incident to Namakgale police the next day at 1 pm.


Selina initially appeared in court on August 30, 2024, for a formal bail application but was denied. She was denied bail again on September 4, 2024, but eventually granted R1000 bail on September 10, 2024.


The late Soyaphi Moses Hlungwani was born in Nsavulani village, outside Giyani, and later relocated to Phalaborwa for work at Palabora Mining Company (PMC), a major copper producer in South Africa.
