 Carrick favourite for Man Utd caretaker role Michael Carrick has emerged as favourite to be appointed Manchester United caretaker head coach, according to sources close to the process. Club chiefs are hoping to have an appointment in place for when players return to training on Wednesday. While a final decision is yet to be reached, talks are said to have progressed with the 44-year-old over the position. Carrick previously had a three-game stint as United's temporary boss following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's dismissal in 2021. He won two and drew one of those matches but left after Ralf Rangnick's arrival as interim manager. Solskjaer held face-to-face discussions with the club on Saturday about a return. United sacked Ruben Amorim as manager after 14 months in the job on 5 January. Tongues wag as Muhoozi Kainerugaba,son of Uganda’s president, Yoweri Museveni, makes a bold declaration about renowned Afrobeats singer, Ayra Starr.


Ayra Starr delivered an epic performance at the 27th edition of Blankets and Wine in July 2024, performing alongside renowned South African duo, Blaq Diamond


Muhoozi Kainerugaba made the declaration about the Mavin Records label signee in a recent tweet on X (formerly Twitter).


According to him, his late grandfather gave him permission to pursue any woman he desires, and boldly declaredthat he will “capture” Ayra Starr.


His tweet reads, “My late grandfather,Mzee Amos gave me permission to get any woman on earth. I will capture that girl.Ayra Starr “.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
