  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. The Lord Mayor of Leeds, United Kingdom, and Gimbiyan Jaba, Abigail Marshall Katung, together with her husband, the Lord Mayor Consort, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, were recently honoured with a royal invitation to attend a Garden Party hosted by His Majesty King Charles III at Buckingham Palace.


The prestigious event, held on Tuesday, 20th May, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m., brought together distinguished guests from across the United Kingdom, in celebration of exceptional contributions to public service, community development, and national unity.


The Lord Mayor and her husband joined many inspiring leaders and individuals at The King’s Garden Party, an esteemed tradition that underscores the monarchy’s recognition of civic responsibility and community engagement.


The event also served as a platform for meaningful dialogue and the exchange of ideas. 


Her Worship and Senator Katung used the occasion to spotlight the need for collaboration in fostering development in Nigeria, particularly in the Southern Kaduna region.
