 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  Ibom Air: Simi demands sanction against individual who exposed Emmanson's indecent parts


Singer Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, popularly known as Simi is calling for sanctions against the individual who filmed and released a video of a passenger, Comfort Emmanson, being removed from an Ibom Air plane with her breasts exposed.


According to Simi, it is unfair to only punish Emmanson for her behavior while ignoring the person who recorded and shared the unedited video. 


The singer argued that sharing the video without blurring out the "indecent parts" was a violation of Emmanson's privacy and deserves punishment.


Simi questioned why the person who posted the video is not being held accountable, stating that they should also face legal action.


She wrote on Instagram: “Someone recorded her being dragged off the plane, recorded her being exposed like that, and then posted it without editing out this exposure or blurring it out. I personally want to know who posted that video and why no one is holding him/her accountable. Because they will face the law.


“But voluntarily posting her half-naked for millions of people to see when less than 10 people actually witnessed it in the first place deserves punishment too because you cannot condemn one madness and leave another one".


The incident involved Comfort Emmanson being removed from an Ibom Air flight after a scuffle with staff over refusing to switch off her phone during takeoff.


A video of the incident went viral, showing Emmanson being dragged off the plane with her breasts exposed.
