Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London.  “25 tenants owe me ₦287m rent for 3 years, yet they dragged me to court for threatening their lives” — Isaac Fayose

Businessman Isaac Fayose has taken to social media to lament his ongoing battle with tenants who he claims have refused to pay rent for over three years.

In a video shared from Abuja Zone 6 court, Fayose said his tenants—about 25 of them occupying 24 flats and a restaurant in his estate—owe him a staggering ₦287 million in rent.

According to him, instead of paying up, the tenants filed a case against him alleging he threatened their lives.

Fayose further revealed he has already spent ₦48 million in legal fees across five different courts since the dispute began.

He blamed the weak judiciary for enabling the situation, saying constant adjournments have given the tenants room to continue avoiding payment.

“Can you stay abroad in someone’s house for over three years without paying rent and still be dragging the owner to court? This is what we go through in this country,” Fayose lamented.
