 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Sinclair refuses to air Kimmel’s show even as it returns to ABC 

Sinclair Broadcast Group will continue pre-empting “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on its ABC affiliate stations, even as ABC prepares to bring the show back on Tuesday.

In a statement Monday evening, Sinclair said it will replace the program with news programming while discussions with ABC continue over the show’s potential return. The decision comes as Sinclair weighs a possible divestiture of its local broadcast stations, which would require regulatory approval.

It remains unclear whether other major broadcast groups, like Nexstar—which recently announced it would pull the show from its lineup—will follow Sinclair’s lead. Nexstar, the largest local station owner in the U.S., is in the process of acquiring Tegna, the fourth-largest broadcaster, in a $6.2 billion all-cash deal.
