 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. A NAKED MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER TRYING TO SNATCH A 7-YEAR-OLD GIRL FROM HER MOTHER AT A PORTLAND, OREGON WATERPARK.(PHOTO).

 A naked man was arrested after trying to snatch a 7-year-old girl from her mother at a Portland, Oregon waterpark.


31-year-old Daniel Vasey was arrested on the evening of July 11th after a series of 911 calls about a fully unclothed man took a darker turn.


Initial calls regarding Vasey's behavior began pouring in a little before 7 p.m. on Saturday evening. One caller reported that a naked man had tried to punch him. All calls were made from near the McCall Waterfront Park in Portland. 


Then, a few minutes after 7 p.m., a call came in stating that the unclothed man had just tried to pull a young girl from her mother. According to witnesses, Vasey was attacked by both parents and several bystanders, causing him to release the girl and flee the scene.


Officers with the Portland PD arrived on the scene to find Vassey swimming in the Willamette River. 


Daniel Vassey was arrested and charged with first-degree and second-degree attempted  kidnapping and third-degree assault .


The young girl, who was visiting the area from out of state with family, was treated by paramedics for minor injuries but was otherwise alright.
