 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. A NAKED MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER TRYING TO SNATCH A 7-YEAR-OLD GIRL FROM HER MOTHER AT A PORTLAND, OREGON WATERPARK.(PHOTO).

 A naked man was arrested after trying to snatch a 7-year-old girl from her mother at a Portland, Oregon waterpark.


31-year-old Daniel Vasey was arrested on the evening of July 11th after a series of 911 calls about a fully unclothed man took a darker turn.


Initial calls regarding Vasey's behavior began pouring in a little before 7 p.m. on Saturday evening. One caller reported that a naked man had tried to punch him. All calls were made from near the McCall Waterfront Park in Portland. 


Then, a few minutes after 7 p.m., a call came in stating that the unclothed man had just tried to pull a young girl from her mother. According to witnesses, Vasey was attacked by both parents and several bystanders, causing him to release the girl and flee the scene.


Officers with the Portland PD arrived on the scene to find Vassey swimming in the Willamette River. 


Daniel Vassey was arrested and charged with first-degree and second-degree attempted  kidnapping and third-degree assault .


The young girl, who was visiting the area from out of state with family, was treated by paramedics for minor injuries but was otherwise alright.
