 IGP DISU APPROVES POSTING OF NEW POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS TO COMMANDS, FORMATIONS The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has approved the posting of new Police Public Relations Officers and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected Commands and Formations of the Nigeria Police Force, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible Police information and enhance engagement with the media and other stakeholders. Accordingly, SP Johnson A.  Transfer: Turkish club, Sanliurfaspor sign Kayode Olanrewaju Nigeria forward, Kayode Olanrewaju, has signed for Turkish second division club, Sanliurfaspor. Kayode signed a one-year contract with the option of an additional year. The 31-year-old played for another Turkish club, Genclerbirligi last season. The former Flying Eagles forward scored four goals in 14 league appearances for Genclerbirligi. Kayode has also featured in Turkey for Gaziantep, Sivasspor and Umraniyespor. The vastly travelled striker has played for clubs in Cote d’Ivoire, Switzerland, Israel, Spain and Ukraine.

 Actress Aolat Ayonimofe injured in Lagos traffic robbery …loses expensive necklace Movie star, Aolat Ayonimofe, sustained a neck injury after being attacked by traffic robbers early on Friday, August 23, in the Ogudu area of Lagos state. The robbers stole her expensive necklace during the incident. Narrating the incident via her Instagram page, she wrote: “I was robbed right now inside traffic along Ogudu. They went away with my expensive necklace. Bruises around my neck. “And people were there watching the ugly incident.  “My neck wound is deep though.  Oil and gas: PENGASSAN decries high influx of Indian expatriates into Nigeria The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN), has queried a high influx of Indian expatriates in the oil and gas industry in the country. NAN reports that Mr Festus Osifo, PENGASSAN’s President, said this at the closing of the 3rd edition of the three-day Energy and Labour Summit in Abuja on Friday.
