 The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office (LSWMO), yesterday, sealed off some buildings/properties across the state over different environmental infractions. They are; * A property on 34, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island for deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drain causing offensive odour and sewage flowing in the community, constituting public nuisance, environmental pollution and endangering human life. * A block of Shops along Powerline Road, Meiran, Alimosho, for the illegal construction and operation of unsanitary toilet facility on a road setback without a permit, constituting public nuisance, environmental pollution and endangering human life. * A three-storey building at 38, Adeniji Adele Street, Lagos Island for deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drain. * A building at H29, House of Jesus Street, Langbasa, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, for the deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drains.          SIX PERSONS WERE KILLED ON FRIDAY NIGHT IN A FIRE FROM A TANKER EXPLOSION IN MARABAN JOS,IGBABI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF KADUNA STATE.GOVERNOR MUCHTAR YERO OF KADUNA STATE,WHO CONDOLED WITH THE FAMILIES OF THOSE WHO DIED IN THE ACCIDENT,URGED DRIVERS PARTICULARLY THOSE OF PETROL TANKERS TO BE EXTRA VIGILANT WHILE DRIVING OR PARKING THEIR VEHICLES.HE ASSURED THE PEOPLE THAT EFFORTS WILL BE MADE TO COMPLETE THE NEW TRAILER PARKS AT IGBABI,KAGATKO AND BIRNIN GWARI.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
