 Umueri Crisis Claim: False, Election to Hold April 8 - Says Anambra East Mayor By Nwegbo Ifeanyi  The Anambra East LG Chairman, Hon. Ifeanyi Chinweze, has denied allegations of a leadership crisis in Umueri General Assembly, calling the statement from Ikenga Umueri Unity Forum " false and misleading. Addressing journalists, Chinweze said Umueri is peaceful, with town union elections scheduled for April 8, 2026. He claimed Ikenga Umueri Unity Forum, which issued the statement, is actually frustrating the election with selfish motives.  He distanced himself, PG Chief John Metchie, and electoral committee chairman Barr. Eugene Aghaebe from the allegations, saying they were innocent. The controversy arose after Chinweze insisted Ikenga should not hold key positions like, Secretary, and Vice President simultaneously since they have president general, considering Umueri's three quarters (Ezi, Ikenga, and Invite). KANYE WEST SPENT JUST 49MINUTES IN JAIL.

Keeping Up With Kanye: West - seen here on 25 March in NYC - appeared at the LAPD in Hollywood on Thursday to have his mugshot and fingerprints taken in less than an hour            He was seen entering into a police station on thurday for less than an hour and avoided being seen.It was revealed earlier this month that Kanye plead no contest for allegedly hitting a photographer at LAX in July last year.As  well as two years probation,he was also ordered to attend 24 anger management therapy sessions and complete 250 hours of community service.Kanye and his lawyer carefully chose to arrive at the LAPD station in Hollywood at 4.30pm to get his mug shot taken,as well as getting finger printed,Kanye is said to have gotten out after spending just 49minutes in total.Ksnye was caught on film assaulting Photographer Ramos at Los Angeles international Airport in July.Read the document below.                                   Rap sheet: Kanye was in custody for just 49 minutes on Thursday after he was booked for a battery caseNo one saw me to do it!  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
