Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. This annoucement was contained in a statement by DSP Celestina Kalu in Asaba today saturday that ''Police patrol team attached to Quick Response Squad,Warri intercepted a Ford Transit van with Reg.No {Lagos}EPE 790 XH,on June 25.The vehicle was loaded with fairy used Mikanosp 20 generator and Denyo Daw-18083.OKVA welding machine.The vehicle was being escorted by one Ochoche Mathew 'm' who was fully dressed in police uniform with F/NO.255038 and Cpl rank.However,preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect,who previously served with 20 PMF Lagos,have since been demolished.Our investigation revealed that Ochoche was demobilized from the force on July 18,2011.Mathew is no longer in the police service''.The statement added that the suspect was arrested for impersonation and is undergoing investigation and that the vehicle and the exhibits he was escorting had been impounded.One more photo below.
