 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state.                  The governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary,Mr Habib Aruna said that the decision was carried out based on a recent discovery that the concession was grossly detrimental to the interests of the people of the state.According to him,only N50 million was paid by the concessionaire,Afriland Properties,for a 50 year lease of the property belonging to the government.He said the state Government,as custodian of the interests of Lagosians,is committed to the restructuring of the LSDPC to ensure it begins to provide positive capital returns to the state Government for the ultimate benefit of the people''.Governor Ambode had two months ago,relieved former Managing Director of the LSDPC,Mr Biodun Oki,of his appointment,and appointed Mr Jacob Agosu as Acting CEO of the Corporation,in a bid,according to the statement,to stem the tide of negative capital returns of the corporation.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
