 PRESS RELEASE MINISTER OF INFORMATION LEADS HEADS OF AGENCIES TO BROADCASTERS CONFERENCE IN LAS VEGAS In an effort to strengthen broadcast collaborations and form strategic alliances, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris fnipr, has led a delegation of heads of government agencies to the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference and Workshop in Las Vegas, USA. The NAB event, running from April 5 to 9, carries the theme “The Technology, The Trend, The Future” and will cover a range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud visualization, the creator economy, and sports production and streaming. NOVELIST JACKIE COLLINS,PASSED AWAY YESTERDAY AT THE AGE OF 77.

                                                         A lot of celebrities have stated posting their tributes messages through their social media for the death of a great Novelist Jackie Collins.Jackie Collins was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer six and a half years ago but she chose to keep her illness almost entirely to herself,confiding primarily in her three daughters 54 year old Tracy,48 year old Tiffany and 46 year old Rory.Memorial services in both the United States and the United Kingdom will be held privately.The Collins family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Susan G.Komen Breast Cancer Organization and Penny Brolon Cancer care {In the UK}.Her latest novel ''The Santangelos'' hit the shelves in June 2015 and it was my elder sister Caroline that made me to be a Jackie Collins fan because she is a great collector of all her books.Jackie Collins is the sister to Hollywood actress Joan Collins.May her soul rest in peace Amen.The 19th of September will always be remembered as Jackie Collins day.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
