 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways. Image result for bob manuel udokwu and his dad                 Veteran Actor Bob Manuel lost his father  Pa Geoffrey Nwafor Udokwu {Ononenyu} on tuesday November 22,2016.His aged father passed away in his home country in Nkwelle Ogidi in Anambra state.Burial arrangement will be announced by the deceased family.According to sources,Bob Manuel Udokwu is now a complete orphan as he lost his mother on July 20,2014 and she died at the age of 78 years.The veteran actor and Special Adviser on Creative Media to Governor Obiano lost his daf to age related illness.May his soul rest in peace Amen.More photos below.
