 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. PFN LAGOS YOUTH WING USES "DERAILED " TV SERIES TO ENCOURAGE TALENTED CHRISTIANS.{PHOTOS}.


    THE Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Lagos state chapter,  under the leadership of Bishop Sola Ore,  is set to produce it's first Tv series,  titled:DERAILED.
According to  the Director of training, Pfn Lagos youth wing, Dr Henry Emeka Obidi, the series will focus on mending broken families and reconnecting Derailed Christians back to God.  It is also an opportunity for expressing talents of young Christians looking for a platform. The global goal of this move is Evangelism. Dr Henry Obidi further stated that the Series will reflect on the reality of our reconciliation with God and is aimed at giving the Christian community and the YOUTH generally a platform to exhibit their talents through acting, singing and dancing.
According to the Associate Producer, Mr Jude Orhorha, it is a sad reminder and generally observed that a lot of top musicians and actors started expressing their talents in churches but later derailed. This he attributed to the fact that they were not given the required platform by Christian denominations to excell in their chosen callings and God given talents.But he assured that with the debut of DERAILED, being a Christian and a member of Pfn as a youth would be a thing of pride. Henry stated that This Project aims at using the Television to teach moralistic values and reduce the level of moral decadence. The Director of Youths Pfn Lagos, Apostle Ken Chidubem fixed the  Audition and training for Saturday 18th May 2019 at LOVE AGLOW MINISTRY OFF DIAMOND BANK 4TH AVENUE, FESTAC TOWN LAGOS by, 9:00am. And it recorded a flotilla of untapped potentials. Over 300 people were auditioned.
According to some of the participants, this is the first time Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria will do this and it has brought a spark of hope to the entire Christian community and they are all extremely grateful to the man who created this vision, Dr Henry Obidi.  According to the Apostle Ken, this is just one of the missions of the PFN youth wing Lagos. The global vision is to overcome the 7 mountains.  The CMC boss Ambassador Cornell Udofia, gave endorsement to outstanding participants. Those that made the audition will be trained by seasoned Nollywood Veterans Like Jude Orhorha,  Amaka Ezeamaka, Dr Sam Uche Anyamiri, Daddy Ejidoh,  Chucks Ejiofor,  Ijeoma Imoh, Commander COC Nze, Ambassador Udofia,  Gospel Artist, E David's Paul Adams,and many more.More photos below.
