 Ogun Arraigns Olu of Obafemi for Land Grabbing ...details how monarch defied House of Assembly and traditional council summons. The Ogun State Government on Tuesday arraigned the Olu of Obafemi in Obafemi Owode Local Government, Oba Taofeek Kayode Owolabi, for land grabbing. Oba Owolabi is a coronet Oba and a member of the Egba Traditional Council and is currently under suspension. Specifically, the government, in a statement on Wednesday by the Ministry of Justice, noted that the royal father was taken to court for conspiracy to sell property without authority, sale of property without authority, unlawful use of agents, forceful takeover of land, assault of a police officer, and obtaining by false pretence. According to the statement, which affirmed the monarch's presumption of innocence, Oba Owolabi is accused of laying an unlawful claim to 500 acres of land within Obafemi Owode town and deceiving a developer, one Dr. Michael Adeyemi, into paying him ₦75 million for the land. Ugboaja Chizobam Stephany 16 years old Ezinihitte Mbaise born teenager, a graduating student of Jesuit Memorial College Port Harcourt, has come out impeccably triumphantly at the just concluded West African Senior Schools Certificate Examination (WASSCE), as she scooped a stunning nine Alphas/Distinctions across all the nine subjects she sat for.
Family Writers Press gathered that, the Imo state born academic genius emerged the youngest best WAEC candidate in this history of WAEC, joining a long list of other Igbo geniuses who have dominated the West Africans regional examinations body in over two decades.
The young girl whose brain is inarguably on fire acquired A(s) in subjects ranging from: Further Mathematics, General Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Civic Education, Economics and Data Processing. The teenager told Family Writers Press that she hails from Ezinihitte Mbaise in Imo state and will be eager to meet her state Governor.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
