 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. AFCON: PDP Hails Super Eagles, Charges Team to Lift Trophy
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) celebrates the Super Eagles for the team’s performance in the on-going Africa Cup of Nation, urging the players to focus on lifting the trophy at the end of the tournament.
The party says it is highly proud of our national team for defeating the defending champion, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon; a pointer to the triumph of the Super Eagles at the tournament.
The PDP notes that in defeating Cameroon, the Super Eagles, once again demonstrated the resilient spirit, courage and team work for which our nation and her people are known all over the world.
That victory has also shown that, as a nation, we can always surmount our challenges when we work together.
The party therefore charges the Super Eagles not to relent but to go in the same spirit and defeat the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the Quarter Finals on Wednesday.
The PDP urges Nigerians to continue in their support and prayers for the team to win the trophy and bring glory to our dear nation.
