BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE FOUR SUSPECTS ARRESTED OVER FARMER-HERDER CLASH IN NINGI LGA THAT CLAIMED ONE LIFE Following the unfortunate farmer-herder clash at Guda Village in Ningi Local Government Area, the Command wishes to inform the public that four suspects have now been arrested in connection with the incident. On 23rd September, 2026 at about 0740hrs, three farmers from Guda Village went to their farms on Guda Hill and found cattle belonging to a herder grazing on and destroying their crops. They chased the cattle to the herders' settlement where an argument ensued and degenerated into a fight. In the process, the three farmers sustained injuries. Sadly, in retaliation, some youths from Guda Village mobilized and set ablaze houses at the herders settlement. Operatives from Ningi Division responded promptly, restored normalcy and evacuated the injured to General Hospital Ningi. POLICE PARARED A FORMER CMOF A GOVT OWNED GENERAL HOSPITAL IN KWARA.(PHOTO).




 The Kwara State Police Command has paraded a former Chief Medical Director (CMD) of government-owned Kaiama general hospital, Kaiama local government area of the state, Dr. Abass Adio Adeyemi, for m¥rder and organ harvesting.

 

It would be recalled that the decomposed bodies of two missing women were found b¥ried in a shallow grave in the doctor's office.

 

Before then, the suspect, who hails from Offa LGA of Kwara State, was arrested for k!lling a cab driver, Emmanuel Yobo Agbovinuere. 

 

He allegedly k!lled the victim in Benin City, Edo state, dumped his corpse at Otofure community on the Benin-Lagos highway and absconded with the deceased's vehicle.

 

Speaking while parading the 36- year-old suspect in Ilorin on Monday evening, February 20, 2023, the state Police commissioner, Paul Odama, said that the command is closing in on other members of syndicate involved in the crime. 

 

According to the CP, the suspected allegedly sedated some of his victims; mostly women before he k!lled them, added that he k!lled and buried, while he killed to harvest organs of some other victims.

 

Odama also said that the suspect had allegedly k!lled one of his victims in Edo State, before he killed those in Kwara State, including his woman friend.

 

He went further to give the names of the deceased as; Olanipekun Ifeoluwa Ibikun “f”, Nafisat Halidu “f”, Abubakar Malam Abubakar “male” and unidentified lady. 

 

Exhibit such as Toyota Camry LE. Reg. No.: WSN 494 AA, one black and one pink female handbags, one Infinix phone, one Techno phone, female wig, a black veil, one female pant and an industrial waste bin, were recovered from the suspect.

 

“On 3/7/2022, at about 2350hrs, one Muktar Opeyemi (male) reported at ‘F’ Division, Ilorin, that on 25/6/2022, he noticed that one of his co-tenants by name Ifeoluwa (female), of the same address, and her vehicle, a Toyota Camry, were last seen within the compound on 24/6/2022, which was unusual,” the police boss stated.
