 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. I WAS UNDER SPELL, SAYS BENUE DEACON WHO BEAT STEP-SISTER TO STUPOR

A deacon with one of the churches in Benue State, Kelvin Iorfa has blamed a “spiritual attack” for the physical assault he inflicted on a woman recently.

Recall that Iorfa was recently captured in a viral video manhandling a lady.

He was seen in the video flogging the lady said to be his younger sister with a belt. The young lady later fainted in the video.

The video sparked wide condemnation with many calling for his arrest.

Subsequently, Iorfa was apprehended by men of the Benue State Police Command.

Following his arrest, he reportedly pleaded that he was under a “spiritual attack” which rendered him unable to know what he was doing.

He claimed he was “surprised” seeing himself in the video that has gone viral, beating his younger sister.

The Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Catherine Anene, confirmed his arrest today Tuesday morning.

She, however, said he is yet to be interrogated.

“Yes, that is true [he has been arrested]. But for the claims about what he said, I haven’t spoken with him. When I speak with him, I will get back to you,” the PPRO said.

He is very popular in Makurdi, his latest victim is his step sister  who  was telling him to stop beating his wife, luckily the wife has escaped his violence and now it is his sister. Please we need FIDA Markurdi and all human rights organisation in Makurdi to help. They say the wife and sister have been too afraid of  him to report to the authorities.  Let us not wait until another death occurs before we swing into action.
