 Umueri Crisis Claim: False, Election to Hold April 8 - Says Anambra East Mayor By Nwegbo Ifeanyi  The Anambra East LG Chairman, Hon. Ifeanyi Chinweze, has denied allegations of a leadership crisis in Umueri General Assembly, calling the statement from Ikenga Umueri Unity Forum " false and misleading. Addressing journalists, Chinweze said Umueri is peaceful, with town union elections scheduled for April 8, 2026. He claimed Ikenga Umueri Unity Forum, which issued the statement, is actually frustrating the election with selfish motives.  He distanced himself, PG Chief John Metchie, and electoral committee chairman Barr. Eugene Aghaebe from the allegations, saying they were innocent. The controversy arose after Chinweze insisted Ikenga should not hold key positions like, Secretary, and Vice President simultaneously since they have president general, considering Umueri's three quarters (Ezi, Ikenga, and Invite). Laura Ikeji flaunts baby bump, laments pregnancy struggle
The Real Housewives of Lagos reality star, Laura Ikeji Kanu shares her experience with her current pregnancy and how it is not as fun as her first two.

The businesswoman who is anticipating her third child explained that her previous two pregnancies brought her boundless energy and high motivation. However, she finds her third pregnancy to be quite the opposite.

Taking to Instagram to share a stunning baby bump photo, she expressed that she is unsure about the reason behind this change, as she used to find it fun and to be able to wear whatever she pleased.

Laura Ikeji also raised the possibility that her age might be a factor in these differences, as her last pregnancy was four years ago.

“My two other pregnancies gave me energy and high motivation. This particular one took my energy and my motivation. I don’t know how that happened but I used to enjoy being pregnant, I could wear what that fck I wanna wear and do anything but this one, it’s a struggle to find what fits.

Likeeee how is Laura pregnant n not posting dance videos? Is it age? Cos my last pregnancy before this was 4 years ago. Anyhow , my outfit to the premier of the RHOL ladies n gentle,” she wrote.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
