 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here.  Rivers State Govt takes over prosecution of murder trial of UNIPORT student


The Rivers State Government has taken over the prosecution of the murder trial of Damian Okoligwe, a 400L student in the Department of Petrochemical Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt.

Okoligwe was accused in 2023 of killing his girlfriend, Justina Otuene, a 300L Biochemistry student at the same university.

Following the arraignment of the suspect by the Rivers State Police Command, the Office of the Attorney General of Rivers State filed charges against Okoligwe in the State High Court, after receiving advice from the Department of Public Prosecution, DPP.

During Tuesday’s court proceedings, the defendant, Okoligwe, and his legal representative were not present.

The presiding judge, Justice C. A. Nsirim, adjourned the case to Tuesday, April 23, 2024, and directed that the suspect be brought to court to enter his plea on the specified date.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
