 Chawai Community Appeals To Gov. Uba Sani For Relief, Medical Support After Deadly Kauru Attack The people of Chawai Chiefdom in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to Governor Uba Sani to provide urgent relief and medical assistance to victims of the deadly attack on Naridon village in Kamaru Ward. In an open letter addressed to the governor, the community commended his leadership, describing his administration as inclusive and fair. They said this had given residents confidence that every community in the state is valued. The community, however, expressed concern over what it described as the lack of government intervention following the attack on Naridon village, in which it said 30 people were killed. According to the letter, many survivors and families of the victims are still struggling with grief, trauma, displacement, and the challenges of caring for those injured in the attack. WOMAN SETS HERSELF ABLAZE IN JIGAWA STATE OVER MARITAL ISSUES. (PHOTO).

 Woman sets herself ablaze in Jigawa state over marital issues 



A 40-year-old woman named Fatsuma Bagobiri  in Garin Mallam village, Guri Local Government Area of Jigawa State, reportedly set herself on fire. 


The Jigawa State Police Public Relations officer, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, confirmed that the tragic incident was reported on Thursday morning. Police officers from the Guri Divisional Police Headquarters promptly responded to the distress call.


The woman's charred body was taken to the hospital and later released to the family for burial. Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased had been battling depression ever since her divorce a few months prior.


In response to this heartbreaking event, the Jigawa State Commissioner of Police, CP AT Abdullahi, urged citizens to turn to Almighty Allah for guidance, seek blessings through prayer, and seek wisdom from elders during difficult times.
