 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him.  Reactions as Ooni of Ife reunites with estranged wife, Prophetess Naomi, and son to celebrate his new project in Akure


The Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and his estranged wife, Prophetess Naomi are currently the talk of the town as they reunite with their son for an event in Akure.


The Ooni had opened another of his projects in Ojaja Park, Akure, and held a Night of Praise to celebrate the new feat. Surprisingly, Queen Naomi and their son, Prince Tadenikawo, and other wives of the monarch were present at the event. In one of the clips, the Ooni was captured talking to Naomi as she held on to their son.


As expected, the video has caused a stir online with many stating that the King is still in love with her.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
