 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  Reactions as Ooni of Ife reunites with estranged wife, Prophetess Naomi, and son to celebrate his new project in Akure


The Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and his estranged wife, Prophetess Naomi are currently the talk of the town as they reunite with their son for an event in Akure.


The Ooni had opened another of his projects in Ojaja Park, Akure, and held a Night of Praise to celebrate the new feat. Surprisingly, Queen Naomi and their son, Prince Tadenikawo, and other wives of the monarch were present at the event. In one of the clips, the Ooni was captured talking to Naomi as she held on to their son.


As expected, the video has caused a stir online with many stating that the King is still in love with her.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
