 INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES AND OTHER RELATED OFFENCES COMMISSION (ICPC) Tuesday 16th December, 2025 MEDIA RELEASE The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to confirm that it received a formal petition today Tuesday 16th December, 2025 from Alhaji Aliko Dangote through his lawyer. Music executive Paulo Okoye has slammed activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju for dragging singer, Samini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy’s name over the arrest of Speed Darlington


Earlier today, Deji Adeyanju bashed Burna Boy for singing legendary Fela Kuti’s lines of activism while oppressing people.


In response, Paulo took to his Instagram story to slam Deji Adeyanju for attacking Burna Boy. He identified the human rights lawyer as a social media lawyer who doesn’t have the right to malign the singer’s name.


He asked him to get his facts right and call his client to order. He urged him to put some respect on Burna Boy’s name.


“Deji Adeyanju or whatever they call you!!!! Can you put respect on Burna Boy’s name.


Why are you even calling Burna Boy’s name?? Smh

You are nothing more than a social media lawyer. Lawyer my a$$$.
