 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Music executive Paulo Okoye has slammed activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju for dragging singer, Samini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy’s name over the arrest of Speed Darlington


Earlier today, Deji Adeyanju bashed Burna Boy for singing legendary Fela Kuti’s lines of activism while oppressing people.


In response, Paulo took to his Instagram story to slam Deji Adeyanju for attacking Burna Boy. He identified the human rights lawyer as a social media lawyer who doesn’t have the right to malign the singer’s name.


He asked him to get his facts right and call his client to order. He urged him to put some respect on Burna Boy’s name.


“Deji Adeyanju or whatever they call you!!!! Can you put respect on Burna Boy’s name.


Why are you even calling Burna Boy’s name?? Smh

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
