 IGP DISU APPROVES POSTING OF NEW POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS TO COMMANDS, FORMATIONS The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has approved the posting of new Police Public Relations Officers and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected Commands and Formations of the Nigeria Police Force, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible Police information and enhance engagement with the media and other stakeholders. Accordingly, SP Johnson A. Doghudje has been posted as Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 5, and can be reached on 08038773657; SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji, anipr, has been posted to Zone 11, Osogbo, and can be reached on 09152481510.  A 21 YEAR OLD WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER STEALING A TWO WEEKS BABY IN KWAZULU NATAL


The child named Owami Sindani was stolen yesterday in Cato Manor Kwazulu natal by this woman. The woman had met with Owami’s mom at a local clinic and became friends with her on the 24th of April 2025. Then yesterday she visited Bongiwe who is Owami’s mom at her home. The lady then snatched the baby and Bongiwe’s phone and disappeared around 15:h00. Members of a security company called Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) then started circulating the photos of the child asking for tip offs. Then this morning around 09:15 the baby Owami was found safe in the vicinity of Pavilion Shopping Centre after a tip off.  According to information as per tip off the girl was planning to flee KZN with the child and the security company dispatched a helicopter to seal all entries and exits in the mall area. Hearing the Da-Da-Daaaa sound from the helicopter she started to panic and was spotted behaving suspiciously with a child. It was immediately established  that its baby Owami in her position.  She was immediately arrested and moved away as the community was planning to send her to the creator. 


The woman later confessed that she stole a child  after she suffeeed a miscarriage on the 24th of April. After stealing the child she took her to the boyfriend and told him that is his child so that he don’t dump her.
