 Nonye Soludo Pays Follow-Up Visit to Recovering Child, Reaffirms Commitment to Child Protection By Chinyere Nwoye  The Wife of the  Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has paid another visit to young Chiziterem to monitor his recovery and encourage his family, expressing delight over the remarkable improvement in the child's health. Mrs. Soludo disclosed this in a post shared on her official social media page on June 22, where she noted that the young boy is now much stronger than he was during her previous visit. According to her, Chiziterem's steady recovery is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the medical team handling his treatment, as well as the overwhelming love, prayers, and support received from compassionate individuals.  I didn’t get into politics to enrich myself – El-Rufai warns against voting APC


Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has disclosed that he got into politics to serve humanity and not to enrich himself.


El-Rufai made the remark while urging Nigerians to sack the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2027.


He spoke while mobilizing youths to support the opposition coalition in Sokoto State on Saturday.


El-Rufai noted that APC posed a risk to Nigeria’s unity, hence should not be allowed to remain in power in 2027.


The key member of the opposition coalition described the APC as “incompetent and clannish,” stressing that it poses a threat to Nigeria’s unity by remaining in power.


He said: “I didn’t get into politics to enrich myself but to serve. And when a government ceases to serve the people, it is my duty as a senior citizen to not only speak out but take action to reverse the situation.”


The opposition coalition had adopted the African Democratic Congress as it moves to ensure the APC doesn’t return to power in 2027.
