 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  Igbinedion promises to deliver


House of Representatives-elect for Ovia Federal Constituency seat, Barr. Omosede Igbinedion, has promised to listen, serve and deliver on her electoral promises. 

Igbinedion won last Saturday’s by-election with a large margin. 

Reacting to the electoral victory, Igbinedion described the victory as a shared triumph for every son and daughter of Ovia as well as a powerful affirmation of their collective resolve for progress and representation. 

Igbinedion thanked the people of Ovia Federal Constituency and assured them she remained committed to serving them with renewed dedication, transparency, and compassion. 

She appreciated Governor Monday Okpebholo and Deputy, Dr. Dennis Idahosa, for their strategic leadership and support throughout the campaigns. 

According to her: “I am especially grateful to the Deputy Governor for his active role in leading party leaders, stakeholders, and loyal supporters across the 23 wards of our constituency during the campaign. 

“This victory is especially significant for women and youths. It serves as a bold reminder that our voices matter and that we belong at the table where decisions are made. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
