 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND PUBLISHES OFFICIAL CONTACT NUMBERS OF AREA COMMANDERS, DPOS AND TACTICAL COMMANDERS


In line with its strategic drive to deepen transparency, enhance accountability and strengthen public confidence in policing, the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Olufemi Abaniwonda, has approved the public release of the official contact phone numbers of all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and Tactical Commanders across the State.


The directive is intended to improve accessibility to police leadership at all operational levels and to facilitate prompt reporting of crimes, effective intelligence sharing and swift response to security concerns. It further underscores the Command’s commitment to citizen-centred policing and robust community partnership in the maintenance of law and order. The Command cautions that abuse of these lines, including prank calls or the dissemination of false information, as members of the public are enjoined to make responsible and constructive use of the published contact numbers strictly for security-related matters.


The Delta State Police Command reiterates its resolve to protect lives and property and to sustain a secure and peaceful environment through proactive engagement, professionalism and cooperation with the public.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
