The University Management has observed with serious concern the increasing cases of indecent dressing within the Igbariam Campus. In response, the Unit for Student Conduct and Dress Code has been fully activated, with task forces deployed across the campus to ensure strict compliance.
With immediate effect, the University noted that it will not tolerate any form of indecent dressing. Any student found in violation of the approved University dress code shall be sanctioned accordingly, as provided under the University Laws and Regulations, without exception.
INDECENT DRESSING GUIDELINES.
FOR FEMALE STUDENTS:
1) Revealing tops or blouses that expose cleavage or midriff
2) Short skirts or dresses far above the knee
3) Artificially sprayed or unnaturally coloured hair
4) Tight-fitting or transparent clothing
5) Low-cut or excessively revealing necklines
6) Exposed undergarments or visible bra straps
7) Piercing/wearing of nose rings by female students.
FOR MALE STUDENTS:
1) Sagging trousers or pants that expose underwear
2) Artificially sprayed or unnaturally coloured hair
3) Tight-fitting or revealing shirts
4) Exposed chest or torso
5) Wearing shorts or skirts to lectures
6) Wearing earrings by male students.
7) Plating of Hair by male students.
All students are hereby advised to conduct themselves responsibly and dress decently at all times within the campus.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
