 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. U.S. President Donald Trump has shared side-by-side images of himself and former President Barack Obama in their younger years, days after Obama suggested he continues to occupy the current president’s thoughts.


Trump posted the images on his Truth Social account on Saturday, June 27, after first sharing an AI-generated image of himself holding the Earth while carrying an American flag over his shoulder, followed by a photo from the recent UFC event held outside the White House.


The latest social media post continues a long-running public rivalry between the two leaders. Trump has frequently criticised Obama at campaign rallies and on social media and, in recent weeks, has shared AI-generated images mocking the former president, including one depicting Obama’s presidential centre as a dumpster.
