 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. A MEMPHIS MOTHER IS FACING SERIOUS CHARGES AFTER SHOOTING A MAN THAT SHE FOUND UNDER HER DAUGHTER'S BED.(PHOTO).

 A Memphis mother is facing serious charges after shooting a man that she found under her daughter's bed.


Officers with the Memphis Police Department were called to the 3000 block of Travis Road at approximately 1:45 a.m. Thursday, July 16th.


As officers arrived on the scene, they discovered an adult male laying in front of the home. A closer inspection would confirm the man was deceased due to a gunshot wound to the back of the head.


The investigation would lead officers straight to 36-year-old Kendra Scott. 


Kendra would admit to officers that she had shot the man, but only because she had discovered him hiding under her juvenile daughter's bed.


According to Kendra, when she discovered the man he was muttering, "I did what I had to do."


However, as the investigation continued, officers would interview the juvenile daughter. The young girl admitted to police that she had invited the man into her room. She went on to tell officers that her mother had previously threatened to shoot any boy she brought into her room.


After taking the daughter's statements, officers arrested Kendra Scott at the scene. She is facing a first-degree m***** charge and a charge of employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.


Kendra Scott is set to be arraigned on Friday, July 17th.


The man has not been identified at this time.
