Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated Nigerians, especially Muslims across the country on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir festival.  Governor Sanwo-Olu while rejoicing with Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir celebration urged them to celebrate with caution in the wake of the third wave of coronavirus infections in Nigeria. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission today July 19, 2021 arraigned one Ibrahim Yuguda before Justice Maryam Sabo of the Kano State High Court on a one count charge of criminal breach of trust. The charge read that “You Ibrahim Yuguda between April 2018 and February 2019 at Kano within the jurisdiction of the Kano State High Court being entrusted with certain property to wit: the sum of N10, 800,000 (Ten Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira) only property of Mohammed Ibrahim did dishonestly misappropriated the money and thereby committed an offense contrary to section 311 of the Penal Code and punishable under section 312 of the same Law”. The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge. In view of his plea, prosecution counsel Musa Isah requested a date for trial. Counsel representing the defendant, Aminu Umar Yakasai applied for bail on behalf of the defendant.  The reported arrest of Sunday Igboho in Cotonou is unfortunate. He is a hero freedom fighter who defended us. We must now repay his good turn and also defend him by gathering resources for his legal defence. Igboho deserves the same commitment from us, that Buhari has shown and continues to show to killer herdsmen and bandits. Buhari has refused to categorise his kinsmen, who shot down a multimillion dollar Nigerian Airforce jet yesterday, as terrorists (they lied that they jet crashed, but the pilot survived and blew open their lies). The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) has congratulated the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on winning the prestigious Vanguard Personality of the Year Award. In a statement signed by the Association's Public Relations Officer, Mr. Eric Elezuo, NAOSNP described Sanwo-Olu as the best man for the award, citing his developmental efforts in Lagos, and more importantly his efforts at making Lagos a crime-free State.
