The commissioner’s remarks follow Obi’s July 7 visit, which allegedly violated a police advisory against public gatherings and sparked controversy.  Brian Littrell Sues Florida Sheriff Over Daily Beach Trespassing Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell has filed a lawsuit against the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, saying they’ve repeatedly failed to enforce trespassing laws on his private beachfront estate. According to court records, sunbathers and trespassers have been entering his Santa Rosa Beach home daily even after “No Trespassing” signs and hiring private security. Littrell alleges deputies dismissed the problem, with one officer calling private beaches “lunacy,” and 911 allegedly hanging up on his team during a theft report. His legal move seeks a writ of mandamus to compel enforcement not monetary damages. Littrell emphasizes this is about protecting his family’s safety and property rights. Should wealthy property owners get more legal protection, or do public beach rights take precedence?
