 Sowore Demands Withdrawal of Alleged ‘Tout’ Remark at Abuja Court Omoyele Sowore confronted a lawyer at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, October 19, demanding that he withdraw an alleged insult. According to reports, the lawyer, identified in the report as Yakubu, allegedly called the activist and African Action Congress presidential candidate a “tout” before proceedings began. Sowore challenged the remark and questioned why the lawyer had addressed him that way. “Why did you call me a tout? What have I done to you?” he asked. It was reported that some of Sowore’s supporters also objected to the alleged insult during the exchange. Adijat Adeleye, who immediately contacted the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Adebimpe Folusho Obienu, for necessary action. Social workers dispatched to the police station initially discovered that Mistura had been released to her grandmother.  FORMER DELTA STATE GOVERNOR, EMMANUEL UDUAGHAN, DIES AT 71 The family of former Delta State Governor,  Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, has announced his passing Monday morning, aged 71. In a statement signed by Toju Anire Uduaghan on behalf of the family, Emmanuel Uduaghan passing was described as a painful loss to the family, the people of Delta State and Nigeria at large.  It adds, the family expressed profound grief over the death of the former governor, whose life and public service touched many people across the state and the country. Uduaghan served as Commissioner for Health from 1999 to 2003, Secretary to the Delta State Government from 2003 to 2007, and Governor of Delta State from 2007 to 2015.
